Hi Marijan:

With GoldWave opened:
1. Press "Alt-O" for the options menu.
2. press "g" to bring up the plug-ins menu.
3. Choose DirectX from that menu.
4. From the list of DirectX plug-ins registered on your system, arrow down to FreeVerbX and it will probably say "not checked."
5. Press the "spacebar" and it should say checked.
6. Tab to "OK." GoldWave jabbers for a while and then press enter on OK again. The plug-in is now recognized by GoldWave.
7. With a file loaded: press "Alt-C" to enter the Effects menu option.
8. Cursor down to the Plug-ins sub-menu.
9. Choose the DirectX sub-menu.
10. Choose the FreeVerbX plug-in.
11. Perform your magic with the plug-in.

Cheers.

Hi Jim,
I have done exactly what you wrote under XP pro but I can't find the plug-in
in Goldwave. Idea?
Thanks very much!

Hello Larry:

To begin with, when you unzip the file, you must decide where you want to
place the files. Let me suggest:
c:\program files\FreeVerb

Then, you must find and open that directory, and run the appropriate batch
file that corresponds to your operating system. That will register the
plug-in with Windows. Until this is accomplished, GoldWave cannot use the
plug-in.

Please refer to my earlier post concerning the setup for GoldWave.

Cheers.
