Hi Gang: For those who are interested in acquiring the FreeVerb plug-in, listen up.
If you log on to my server at: ftp.compuconference.com you will find two FreeVerb programs: a VST plug-in, and a DirectX plug-in. Both files are zip files. You will recognize them by the following names: FreeVerb_DirectX.zip and FreeVerb2_VST.zip Note for GoldWave users: you will need the DirectX version of the plug-in. SoundForge users can use either version. Those who require the VST version have only to unzip the file and copy the DLL file in to their appropriate VST plug-in directory. The installation of the DirectX version of the plug-in, on the other hand, is a little more complicated: but not overly much so. Here are the steps for installing the DirectX version: 1. Unzip the file to the directory in which you are going to store this plug-in. 2. After unzipping the files, log on to that directory. 3. Highlight the appropriate batch file that corresponds to your version of windows: 9X, Xp, or NT. 4. Press enter and the plug-in should be registered. 5. Take the necessary steps to have your recording software to recognize the plug-in. Note: all batch files have been updated to reflect the default installation path for each version of the operating system. If someone will furnish me with the default system files installation path for millennium, I will include a batch file for that Operating system as well. Direct downloads: ftp.compuconference.com/FreeVerb_DirectX.zip ftp.compuconference.com/FreeVerb2_VST.zip Cheers. _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
