ok, you do not have to uninstall that driver.
all you have to do is this go to alt t and the up arrow to system settings and you can choose to use your sound card driver instead. I have taken a look at the total recorder demo and think it is very well worth the money and it looks great.

I just downloaded Total Recorder 5.1. I was about to install it but one of
the screens gives the option of installing or not installing the Total
Recorder driver and mentions compatibility problems. Does anyone know of
potential compatibility problems with the driver and can it be disabled or
uninstalled easily?
