IF YOU LEAVE THE AVI FILE IN AVI FORM YOU CAN PUT IT ON A CD IN DATA FORMAT AND PLAY IT WITH WINAMP. ----- Original Message ----- From: "TerriStimmel" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <pc-audio@pc-audio.org> Sent: Saturday, April 02, 2005 7:59 PM Subject: Two questions about file types
Hello everyone, I have a question about putting some files on CD. And another on what sort of file type I have. I got a couple of movies. One of them has a file type ending I've never seen before. They are SRT files. What is this, and can these be put onto a CD, so the movie can be watched on a DVD player? Or would they have to be converted to something else, before that could happen. Also, another movie I got is an AVI file. I am familiar with these. But I was wondering, can these be put onto a CD, to be played in a DVD player? Or does it have to be a DVD? Right now, I don't have a DVD burner, though I am hoping to have one soon. If I have to wait to put these on a DVD, then that's certainly alright. I am just curious as to what I can do. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or ideas you might have. Terri -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
