Hi folks, I tried to convert some wave files to mp3 using Nero. I'm not sure of the version but it may be 5.5.
I got a message that my mp3 pro version had expired. there didn't seem to be any alternative formats to mp3 pro. In the past though, I've had no problems in converting. Ive used sound forge 6.0 to save a wave file to mp3, but find it very slow. What other programs, (preferably free,) will do the job. I also have easy cd creator 4 and winamp 2.7 on my system. I'm using win98 se with jfw 3.7, and have 512mb ram. By the way, where can I get mp3 direct cut, and the associated help files written by a member of this list. I'm afraid I've deleted those emails.
