i was trying to split or rip a few things when i kept getting this don't send or send error report button.
I even try to reinstall it and still no go.
What other alternatives do you recommend?

While I haven't heard anything official about development of CDEX coming to an end I'm beginning to think that it is no longer being developed. Even the CDEX home page at www.cdex.n3.net is no longer working.
