sound forge 6.0 to 7.0

Hi, I am currently running sound forge 6.0 under windows xp professional sp2 
and was wondering is 7.0 as accessible with window eyes as 6.0 is I am not 
using any sets for sf6 but does 7.0 keyboard interface and features still 
accessible in version 7 and is there any advantage in upgrading to 7 and 
also can I keep both 6 and 7 on my system at the same time for a while 
untill I am sure 7 is better?  bye
