Yes, they exist. The Archos studio players and recorders can  talk with the 
alternative firm wear called rock box, however these players and recorders 
aren't made anymore and can only be found on Amazon and EBay. Now Rockbox is 
being made for the IRiver players as well. I'll forward an e mail with the 
player info. The Iriver players look better then the Archos. I have the 
Archos Studio 20 recorder. I like it, but its kind of big compared to the 
Iriver and other players.

Howdy Everyone,
A friend is looking for a mp3 player that has speech on it.  He asked me if
I knew of one and I don't but I told him I knew where to ask...(smile)
So does one exist?
If not, what is in your opinion, the easiest mp3 player to use as a blind
person?
He does have some limited vision...
