Larry and other interested listeners, His Total Recorder parameters are set correctly, I guarantee it! I had Tom make a recording and send it to me as an email attachment. I played it with Total Recorder which told me that the recording had the desired frequency and sampling rates and was in stereo. So it is apparent to me that somewhere in his system, the leads are combined. Yet, if this were the case, it seems to me that Tom would not be able to listen to the stream in stereo as he does. So the bottom line is that the original is heard in stereo, but the recording sounds as if it is mono although Total Recorder indicates that it was recorded in stereo.
