Hi Jon. If you wanto to record what's on tape to the computer, you can use a program like Soundforge or Goldwave, and maybe you could use CDex.

Hi everyone it's John here

Can someone try and help me please
What I want to do is run a tape deck through my computer now, I've got it to run through my PC from the music sentre to my PC via the music system headphone socket to the microphone socket or the Line in socket on the sound card of my PC
Now here comes my question:
I've managed to get that music system to run through but I've got no program that will recognise that it is there can someone tell me if I've done something wrong or if I need a persific program
I'm running Windows XP Pro and running Jaws 5.0 demo
