Thanks so much to everyone who took an interest in this.  Special thanks to 
Harry for your many helpful tips on using the program.  Thanks, too, to Don 
Roberts for your excellent questions.
I still love gold wave, and I think that it will always be my first choice 
for the sound editing, mostly very simple, that I do, but this seems really 
great, and will save considerable time when splitting files, in particular.
