I have the Bose Quiet Confort II. They're much more expensive, but I think, they are also much better. One puts the batterie into one of the ear pieces, no extra box on the cable. In addition to their electronic noise cancellation system, they're completely closed. The trains here in Germany are a bit noisy, but with the Bose, it's nevertheless fun to listen to spoken word stuff while travelling in such a train.
