Marty,

You saw DJC's post, in reply to your inquiry, right? Also, I guess the link to High Criteria Sales is in this past post of mine, isn't it? I know that I might have misled you when I said "all of us"; I meant Professional users, specifically. Why don't you write to them, with your questions? They were helpful to me.

Sincerely,

Mac Norins

Hi, what about we standard edition users? Will we have to get a new
key? This makes me liery of trying it out.

Dear Fellow Listers,

Here is a message that I received, yesterday, that may clarify the install
procedure, for all of us, for 5.0 Total Recorder, at least the Professional
edition. This seems pretty official to me!

Hello Mac,

Yes. Current Professional Edition users may simply download and install
V5.0
on top of your existing install.

Your current Professional Edition registration key is still valid for
V5.0.

Sincerely,

Dear High Criteria Sales Division,

From the news of your release information, on Version 5.o, it is a little
unclear, as to whether or not a new registration key, is necessary, for
4.5
Professional Edition customers. I am a registered user of 4.5, plus I was
just sent a plain text version, of the manuals for both 4.5 and 5.o, upon
request, because I am a blind customer, whose ability to open PDF's was
practically impossible. To sum up, can I just download 5.o, with the
version simply "going over the top" of 4.5, or do I have to re-register (
which is a big hassle for blind users!)?

Please advise me on this, won't you?

Sincerely,

Leslie Norins
