The non-professional version of Sound Forge or "Sound Forge Audio
Studio" is $69.95.
the professional version is not so easy to price. I sell Sound Forge
7.0 for $350.00 but it comes with Noise Reduction 2.0 and CD Architect 5.0.
This bundle is the only way that Sound Forge 7.0 is available unless you get
it as an Academic Version or directly from Sony. The Academic version is a
good deal but I can't get it any more. You could probably find it for $130
if you're eligible as an Academic Purchaser. Purchasing these separately
from Sony and as downloads without CDs costs as follows:
! Sound Forge 7.0: $399.96
! Noise Reduction 2.0: $279.97
! CD Architect 5.0: $239.96
I suspect that anyone's Sound Forge 6.0 without serial numbers will run
as a demo and under ME. You can check with Sony at 1-800-577-6642. I'll
try to remember to check also. If it does then I can send it to you.
I think it's well worth the money but you may not. I believe that most
of the features in Sound Forge aren't used by most of the owners and I
believe that most of them aren't even understood by most of the owners.
Sound Forge is far more sophisticated than most people would ever want.
