You can get a good feel for it if you go to soundblaster.com and click "specifications" for each of those. Offhand, I remember that the value will only playback at 96KHZ as opposed to 192KHZ for the ZS, and the ZS has a firewire port whereas I don't think the value does. At any rate, that part of soundblaster.com is accessible enough, so the specs themselves should answer all your questions.
