I hope this can be figured out soon. Since we have no accessibility with the volume within the yahoo player, it is going to be almost impossible for blind people to use it.

Try hitting start, programs, accesories, entertainment, volume control
Once you have volume control opened, tab twice to "play Control." Use the arrow keys to adjust the master volume of the computer.
This has worked for me when i've encountered embeded audio in web pages with low volume. For some reason, these pages were taking control of my master volume and decreasing it by about half. Hope this helps.
