I've been using Simple MP3 Maker for a year for converting between wave and mp3, as well as for ripping and recording from external sources (e.g. tape decks). I have an old AMD K6 300 with windows 98 and JAWS 3.7U. I know you're asking about Window Eyes, but IT WORKS great with JAWS with no Customizing or scripts, so I'm sure it'll work with W E. it's freeware with no spyware or other nasties at http://www.sofotex.com/Simple-MP3-Maker-download_L4564.html

For now, I use total recorder to create a file in wav1 format. I' tried to create it using mp3 but cant get the button for change file type to work when saving the file. Anyway, I want to convert the wav1 file to mp3 for uploading to my website. What is an easy and Windoweyes friendly way to do this if anyone knows? I'm trying to work with one free ware program another site lister gave me but it isn't working yet and I'm not sure it will with Windoweyes. So, any suggestions?
