Greetings!

Now I haven't been a user of CDEX for quite some time (over 18 months
having moved up a level to a more reliable CD ripper) but the problems
described from messages to this list (where clicks, scratches etc are
appearing at the beginning, at end of tracks or both) would appear to be
more of a CDEX problem rather than a MP3 issue, meaning that CDEX probably
needs some tweeking, sounds that some people's drives may not be compatible
with the settings that they have for CDEX etc and the problem should be
easy to identify and sort out.

The suggextion of editing the surplus noise from the file? Well... that may
be more of a nusance than its worth as the surplus noise could be masking
propper CD audio.
