Yeah, it's a bug. I just keep the volume control open when I change
stations a lot, so I can turn wave up again.-- Considering all the problems
it solves for me, I consider it worth putting up with.

Subject: A question re the classic media player

Hello,

I downloaded the alternative real media player from the
Whitestick.co.uk site, though I do not recall the exact name of the
player.

At any rate, I am having a minor problem which is somewhat irritating.
The player works great except that every time I open a real media file
or stream with it, it lowers the wave volume level substantially, thus
also reducing dramatically the volume level of software speech. Using
the player's control to increase the volume does not address this
problem.

Is there a fix? I looked through the program's options but found none.
 Thanks for assistance.

Don Roberts
