hmm I've ben having the same problem but the seek didn't work for me. It still has the middle of the file at the beginning. Just wanted to drop a note, and say that the real player trick of setting the seek positions to 0 (the beginning of a file) seems to have worked in solving my strange Goldwave conversion problem.
