Don, I know someone who would gladly help you set up something and would call you and walk you through whatever you need help with. Is it alright if I send him this message and he will write to you off list? Let me know. I want to be able to give people access to my audio files. I record nature audio, concerts etc and I want to put them on line for download. I need some sort of server software and need to know how to set it up so that a person can type in an address and have access to the files I specify. I have never done this before and I need help with it. I will check main menu for sources today but can you all help me. Questions I have are these. Do you have to upload your files to a main server or can you leave them on your pc for download? How does the colective web know how to access your specified address and how do you set that up. I am sending this to both lists because I know lots of you have worked with the web and have stremed audio or at least sent files back and forth. I have sent files through email but these files are getting to large for that. Plus, I don't want to limit file size because of ten mb constraints of most email servers. Thanks for the help If you can think of a better way than ftp let me know what that is. _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
