Hello, It is my understanding that installing a WDM driver will sometimes cause a sound card which is not multi channel to function as if it were multi channel.
I therefore want to locate and install a WDM driver for my HP 4150-A laptop in hopes of being able to use software speech while doing other things requiring the sound card. Can anyone suggest where I can get such a driver and also please tell me how to install it. I would be happy to try to find something at driverguide.com; unfortunately, that site requires that you identify the characters in a graphic. So I would appreciate suggestions from others on this list. Thanks in advance.
