I just tried to send a bug report to the Winamp forums. Have to register first but can't without sighted help. You have to enter the characters shown in a picture on the page. DRAT!
The bug is: Win98se "find Files of type Winamp media". The Dialog disappears when I start the search. This only happens with Winamp files. It started after I installed Winamp 5.03. I was previously using 2.91. This happened before when I first tried 5.0. I have since reformatted my hd a few times plus I have new hardware so I know it isn't my system alone. I found a message in the forums about this same problem from one other user but the only advice given was to reinstall windows. Fat chance!
