*Job type: Contract* *Pay-terms: C2C* *Visa: Open* *Level: Senior* *Total experience: preferably around 10 years to start with* *Interviews: Telephonic* *MANDATORY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * • A total 10 years and about 8+ Years Informatica PowerCenter / ETL Experience • 8+ Years strong SQL and Performance Tuning Experience • 2+ Years Teradata Version 14+ experience including Teradata Utilities • ETL / Informatica administrative experience • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, end-client facing, team collaboration, and mentoring skills • Strong organization skills and ability to set priorities and schedule work deadlines. • Bachelors or Advanced Degree in a related field such as Information Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Analytics, Business Technology • Adapting to the team and organizational culture *Primary Job Responsibilities:* • Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value • Participating and implementing in large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives • Developing innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business • Providing alternate design solutions along with project estimates • Designing and implementing application enhancements in collaboration with different teams • Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions. Ability to solve complex production issues • Predicting emerging customer needs and developing innovative solutions to meet them • Solving unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business • Participating in the development of business strategy and in meeting the assigned priorities. • Translating highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences • Handling smaller projects completely on their own, including interactions with other teams and 3rd parties for design • Involving with management in terms of supplying input for key design and architecture decisions, as well as work estimating, resource/project planning, status reporting *Preferred Skills: ANY ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE OR SKILL SETS WILL BE BENEFICAL FOR THE POSITION:* • 5+ Years Data Warehouse experience • Experience in Reporting/Analytics tool shall be a plus (SAP BO, Tableau, SAS, PowerBI) • Experience in Windows, Unix/Linux scripting • Experience in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Address Doctor, Metadata Manager • Experience with State Medicaid / Medicare / Healthcare applications • ETL/Informatica or SQL or BI or Teradata Certification • Experience working in Agile • Experience with Data Warehouse technologies within the domain of ETL/data integration, Business Intelligence, relational and multi-dimensional database systems *Other Notes:* • Strong emphasis on ETL/Informatica skills – would like to see a resume history that is focused on ETL as primary skill for 8+ years • Teradata related skills is also desirable and could be very helpful in winning the position • Ability to work with end users / customers to understand the ETL requirements • Ability to quickly learn new business area or technical skills based on project needs • Ability to understand performance considerations of ETL requirements - able to debug and correct ETL/Informatica performance issues • Ability to design applications taking into consideration data reconciliation (to the source system); query/ETL performance • Needs to be able to work independently and not rely on State or other team members to learn ETL/Informatica - need someone at Senior level • Experienced in ETL, Informatica, Multiload, Fastload, FastExport, Teradata V15.10 utilities, Microsoft Office, Unix KornShell Scripting, Microsoft SQL server 2008 R2 or above, Ultra Edit tools • Ability to be flexible to adapt to changes, supporting continuous improvement, and perform multiple responsibilities as required by the project team • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with programmers, analysts, immediate supervisor, management, system users, operations, other State agencies and the private sector. • Performing additional duties that are normally associated with this position, as assigned -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Visa Transfer OPT, CPT, PT, H1,H4" group.
