Role Hadoop, Talend - Big Data Developer SO# 27560181 Client CTS Location Chicago, IL Skill set - minimum 2+ years in Talend, Big Data/Hadoop Ecosystem/Unix/Hive QL Domain Knowledge: Core Membership/Medicaid/Medicare/BCBS Methodology-Agile(Jira) Secondary skillset: Knowledge on Github/Jenkins/Zena/Claims Knowledge (Profile should match to play all roles(Senior Developer / Team Lead) • Requirement Elicitation, Requirement Development and Documentation along with the Data Mapping Development and Documentation • Ability to Interface with customers /stakeholders to understand the requirements with respect to their needs or capabilities • Work with the Data Governance Team and Data Stewards to understand the data standardization & normalization rules and document the same to the supporting documents to be referred along with the mapping • Should be able to assist with the business scope, interpret business needs involve in planning and monitoring the project along with the team to provide solutions needed by translating the technical issues, eliciting requirements, translate and simplify requirements, validate their requirements and analysis through reviews, walkthroughs • Ability to Act as liaison between Source & Business team, Design & Architecture team, Development & Support team, and Quality & Release team • Understand the data characteristics from the data definitions, Perform Data Profiling, Analysis and Interpret Business Rules as applicable for Mapping Document Preparation. • Provide status on a daily basis to the SMEs, Business and other key stakeholders using JIRA tool in an Agile environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, well organized • Ability to meet deadlines; demonstrates independence; resourcefulness and self- management skills • Ability to identify gaps in process performance and recommend process improvements • Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. In addition to above skills/experience, SA level Associate should have demonstrated experience in Project Planning, Estimation, Configuration Management, and Coordination skills.
