*GENERAL INFORMATION:* Rate: $40/hr Job type: Contract Pay-terms: C2C Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 10 Months + extension Interviews: Skype Priority: Very High Visa: Open Level: Senior Minimum total experience: preferably 9 years *****NOTE: This role requires SQL Expertise not just beginner. Client has screened more than 30 candidates but didn’t find qualified candidate as per the description*****SKYPE INTERVIEW ONLY***** *Job Description: * 1. The business analyst uses various methods to understand the client’s business collect business requirements for the project. 2. The methods could include documentation review, one-on-one interviews, client meetings or JAD sessions. 3. After gathering requirements, the business analyst documents them for validation by the client. 4. Following validation, the analyst will develop detailed specifications for the development team. 5. Business analysts also support development and testing as needed. 6. The business analyst is also a primary project “evangelist”, promoting the business value of the project to clients from the requirements phase through deployment. 7. Require experienced resource who is able to compensate for possible lack of industry/MRO specific knowledge. 8. Someone who can effectively capture requirements, collaborate with business and technical resources to complete the necessary requirements and translate those requirements into a Source to Target Mapping for the Ab Initio Developers to code the data migration. *REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: * 1. Experience evaluating data quality via Ab Initio Meta data hub 2. Experience working in an Agile Scrum Delivery model 3. Experience using Jira to produce Agile User Stories Data Profiling strategy development 4. Data Analysis 5. Data Migration 6. SDLC Experience *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * 1. Establishes the interviewing approach and coordinates the interviewing process. 2. Interviews the business community to identify user requirements. 3. Reviews existing documents that may contain requirements or background information. 4. Documents requirements and assists in clarifying discrepancies in requirements. 5. Prepares requirements documents and obtains appropriate approvals. 6. Collaborate with business and ETL resources to define data migration focused business transformation rules. 7. Assist with troubleshooting testing defects with the business. 8. Create User Stories to guide the development team with the appropriate tasks and acceptance criteria. 9. Creates and validates source to target mappings. 10. Assist/Conducts or coordinates source data profiling activities as needed and incorporates results into requirements documentation. 11. Analyze business and technology support processes using a standard risk assessment methodology, identify key risks, and evaluate. *EXPERIENCE/EXPOSURE/KNOWLEDGE RELATED: * 1. SQL 2.
