The Project Manager will also have responsibility to provide local management of contract resources that are part of the engagement *Essential Functions of the Job: * • 5 - 10 years’ experience managing large enterprise based application delivery projects. • Proven success in multiple year million+ enterprise program engagement. • Agile and java based Project management experience • Strong project and program management experience needed • Adopt and follow standard methodologies, processes and tools • Provide oversight and/or project management, business analysis and transition management on each project • This is a technical project manager role. Any functional experience is an added advantage but not mandatory. • Evaluate and identify potential redundant applications, infrastructure and tools • Provide level four incident and problem management support for enterprise applications *Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: * • Identify and manage complex issues, preventing escalations, and managing through escalations where necessary • Perform business case analysis and create meaningful project estimates • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the EY competency principles and practices, including the ability to coach and teach • Think strategically and identify opportunities for optimization • Identify challenges and propose meaningful solutions • Team player who is also willing to lead • Develop key relationships across the IT Services organization, including: o Customer Portfolio (Demand) o Application Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering (Design, Architect, Build) o Quality Assurance (Test) o Enterprise Architecture and Strategy (Roadmaps, Standards, EA Fit) o Program Office (Resource Planning) • Operate as a self-starter and with minimal supervision on *Supervising Others:* • The SharePoint Project Manager is expected to conduct ongoing, regular 1:1 meetings with his/her team members and on-going, regular team meetings to communicate project health, accomplishments, issues, action items, and assistance needed. • The SharePoint Project Manager has direct responsibility for the work stream of project managers, business analysts and transition managers, which includes assigning and prioritizing work activities, managing issues and escalations, customer relationship management, performance review, creating a positive, productive team environment, and informal mentoring/coaching activities. • Empowerment/thought leadership: The SharePoint Project Manager is empowered to exercise sound judgment and encouraged to make clear decisions on project issues, managing customer relationships, delivering value, providing leadership and guidance to direct reports, and partnering with peer team members. *Knowledge and Skills Requirements: * • Excellent management, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • Good understanding of the customer strategy, services and business processes • Ability to work and team effectively with other Solutions groups and other management personnel • Ability to work with globally dispersed project teams • Excellent grasp of working within global professional services context • High degree of tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment • Demonstrated project and/or program management experience • Vendor management experience • Experience managing teams of project managers, business analysts and transition managers • Understanding of formal project management, business analysis and service transition methods and tools • Very good understanding of application and Infrastructure landscapes • IT strategy and IT infrastructure optimization experience • Good exposure to/experience in large scale enterprise programs – SharePoint 2013 knowledge is critical • Good understanding of key performance indicators relevant for the role • Excellent program and project management tactical skills • Some experience in financial management, including budgeting and cost comparison for the relevant services • Ability to manage Up (Executive/Senior Management), Down (Direct Reports), and Across (Peer Groups, Stakeholders, etc.) *Experience: * • 10+ years in a corporate IT environment • 7+ years experience in project management or related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation and infrastructure) • Vendor Management skills in an off-shore engagement model are critical for this role • Work experience in a professional services industry preferred • Prior experience leading an enterprise level application deployment *Education: * • A degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience • Project management certification is preferred (PMI/CAPM or PMP, PRINCE2) • Familiarity with ITIL v2 or 3 would be advantageous -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Visa Transfer OPT, CPT, PT, H1,H4" group.
