First, I just want to note that you appear to be using a rather old version of 
ParaView (4.0.1). You might consider updating to see if the problem has been 
solved.

I can't tell what the problem is from the information provide, but I am going 
to take a guess that the glyphs might be scaled too small to see. Try finding 
the "Scale Mode" property in the properties panel and change it to "off". Then 
make sure "Scale Factor" is set to something rational. (Note that because of 
issues like this the latest version of ParaView have the Scale Mode set to off 
by default.)
