From VTK/IO/EnSight/vtkEnSight6Reader.cxx, line 1752, it can be seen
that VTK discards explicit ids (the first element on the line):

 if (!(sscanf(line, " %*d %d %d %d", &intIds[0], &intIds[1],...

Does VTK support unstructured IDs on cells?
