Hi, I am currently developing a conduit and a palm application. The hotsync process will take quite a long time (around 10 minutes) because it involves creating some databases on palm and creating a text file report on pc.
However, hotsync always produces error "SYNCERR_LOST_CONNECTION". I can solve this problem by: turning off the timeout (holding down the upper button of palm, while clicking the upper right corner of the palm). Do I have to do that everytime i need to hotsync? Is there any way to turn off this timeout function programmatically? Therefore my clients do not have to turn it off manually everytime they hotsync. Please help me.
