I did not see these things discussed here in any depth, although by judging
by user forums it appears that T700 has similar problems as first T650's.
Some users claim even worse. This is going to be a device most of us will be
living from for quite some time. Hence why not to exchange the experience?
I am for example aware of the NVFS changes that were applied already to Palm
TX. They badly impact data-intensive applications such as backup. Quite a
few users are then surprised that the installation that worked for T650 does
not work for T700. I can add the details, but probably you are aware of the
mechanism. (Locking does not work without protecting.)
Anybody else will share his experience?
