I'm trying to build a test gSoap client on Palm OS using GCC with the latest gSoap download from Source Forge. The sample project files work with CW which I don't have. When I try to build palmsoap1.cpp it fails with for example 'implicit declaration of function 'int MemPtrFree(...)'. Similar errors are given for MemPtrNew & MemMove, i.e. all Palm OS memory functions. The palmsoap1.cpp file is calling the standard free and malloc methods which is why I get these errors. I suspect there are some compiler settings I could add to my Makefile to ensure the correct palm OS memory functions are used at compile time. If gSoap builds for CW, I presume I can build it with GCC?
It would be great to hear from anyone who can point in in the right direction/ shed light on the subject. Has anyone managed to build gSoap for Palm OS using GCC?? If so any guidance would be great!
