I'm wondering about the current status of XML support for the Palm.

I currently have a Palm App that utilizes gSOAP to access a .NET web wervice,
and I'm trying to decide between two different web service configurations.

One configuration requires me to parse XML on the Palm while the other does
not. This is because one solution returns a .NET dataset (the WSDL does not
define the dataset schema) which requires me to parse the XML manually.

The other solution requires some modifications to the Web Service to change it
from returning a dataset to returning an array of objects/structures. With
this setup, the WSDL for the webservice defines the schema of the object array,
and does not require me to manually parse XML on the Palm.

So basically, my question is how difficult it is to parse the XML for a .NET
dataset on Palm OS, and also any suggestions on libraries that could accomplish
this for me. Is this route worth pursuing, or is it more worth my time to
modify my web service to return more easily understandable data?

If you have any other information that could help me, it would be highly
appreciated :)

Thanks.
