I dealt with the issue of the tutorial files not showing up by copying the
relevant files to a higher level directory under "My Documents". That
worked well, and enabled me to follow the tutorial instructions directly.
The parenthesis were the problem.

I still have problems getting the ROM emulator to not break up (visually) on
the screen. I can not do anything with it, even start it, without the
graphics of the emulator breaking up. The "on and off" sequence refreshes
the screen. Is there an equally painless way to fix this problem? Thank
you.

Sincerely,

Del Ventruella
