Hi all!!! There is on my application a form that have a read only text field. This field is used to show a messages that is generated from server to the palm.
There is a database that stores all these messages. Mostly times, this message have about 100 lines. So, what I do is create a Char Pointer, allocate memory to it with MemPtrNew, set the text to the field with FldSetTextHandle and free the memory used. But, suppose that now, i need to display a message that will have about 10000 lines. Which is the correct aproach to use, that will make able to show this message, without risk of getting a "out of memory" error? Ps.: Some applications that we use to see texts documents on Palm, like DocumentsToGo, may use a similar technic.
