I don't recall precisely, but I had the feeling that they were not saying that the device wouldn't show up, but rather taking a jab at the suggestion that they would have to wait until all the dedicated supporting docs were released to the developers first. Bob.
Developer documentation and header files are on pluggedIn right now. palmOne tries to release this on the same day as the device; usually we've already had these materials for a while, distributed to our partners that are under non-disclosure agreements.
