Hi, My solution to this is to compile each library down to a PRC file, and link in those PRC files into the main PRC file. This is working well on devices and the simulator. To debug, I've added all the library PRC files to "Other Executables". I've added code to my launch code function to search for these library databases and if found, to use them instead of the library resources stored in my main PRC file. This works very well, and enables me to set (and stop at) breakpoints in an of the shared libraries and the main app PRC.
If you decided to do this, make sure that your code to load the shared libraries from within your main app PRC is working well first. Hope this helps someone. Regards, Peter "Peter Easton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi, I've looked at the original thread describing the problem, and can't get this to work. I built a PRC file (shared library) containing a single 'libr' resource and linked this into my main app PRC file using the Palm OS 68K linker. When debugging, I add the library PRC file to the "Other Executables" panel: 1. I select the "File location" using choose and select the library PRC file 2. I check "Download file during remote debugging" When I debug against the 5.4 debug Sim, I can set breakpoints for the shared library in the Symbolics window. The debugger doesn't stop in the library though. Looking at the PRC on the Sim, I see the original library PRC so the "Other Executables" setting worked. I must be so close, but something isn't quite right. Any help is appreciated. I'm using CW 9.3.
