Hi Guys

I need some help finding resources for games programming fot palm os.
has anyone got any good websites on this subject or links to available source
for palm games?

Try the Razor! free framework for Palm Games:

Also you can discuss Game Palm Development here:

I have bought the palm games programmig book but the code causes a fatal error
on my palm.

the code
http://www.geocities.com/harryman84/code.zip
the compiler error messages
http://www.geocities.com/harryman84/errors.txt

I really need some help with what the error messages mean and how I can recify
them in the code. Most of them seem to be undefined refernces. Has anyone a
guide to these C++ errors?

Basically I am learning how to write a game on my tungsten c and need some
help. by the way I am using PODS for all this.

This is not a Fatal error, this is compile errors.

If you do not know C/C++ don't try to fix them as would be a waste of time. Try something more simple first.

Looks like the code you posted uses Metrowerks Codewarrior for Palm (some early version than the current version 9) I think that you will be in trouble trying to compile it using PODS if you are not an C/C++ expert for the PODS->Codewarrior Migration. The book do not comes with some reference? Like to use Codewarrior 9 or something like that?

I tried to compile your code using CW 9.3: I got an Warning that the file need to be converted, so it was created using some old version of CW. After the conversion I got 8 errors and 1 Warning trying to compile the code.

For beginning I would suggest to try some less complex example. If you do not want to spend some bucks buying CW, try some example that has been designed for PODS at least in begining.

The Razor! framework that I suggested also has been developed using CW as I remember.

Thanks in advance

hope this helps a bit.
