I did not realy check your code but you should be aware of one thing about palm os checkboxs. In Palm OS, checkbox can behave as windows checkbox but also as windows radiobuttons. If the checkbox is part of group 0, then it behave like a checkbox. If the checkbox is part of a group other then 0, then it behave like a radiobutton and the selection is exclusive for all members of the same group number. So if your checkbox is define, for example as group 1, and it is the only checkbox on that form to be of group 1, then you will not be able to uncheck it. Maybe its not the probleme you have but it's an easy pitfall for beginners.
