An alarm will wake the device. Plus, the device can be managed in a way that
it will only wake half way (screen remains off), so periodic things can be
done at the lowest power level.

See AlmSetAlarm() and AlmSetProcAlarm(). Also, see
sysNotifySleepRequestEvent, sysNotifySleepNotifyEvent,
sysNotifyEarlyWakeupEvent, sysNotifyLateWakeupEvent.
