Interesting question: are Java apps native on a Blackberry? I would argue that they are, or at least that it does not matter, because the Blackberry is a JVM device. I think that a lot of this nonsense about native code is snobbery. In our world, the world that we grew up in and are comfortable with, assembler programmers looked down on C programmers, who looked down on everyone else.
What we should be doing is trying to develop the best applications we can, with whatever tools are at our disposal. The rest is just party tricks. -- For information on using the ACCESS Developer Forums, or to unsubscribe, please see http://www.access-company.com/developers/forums/
