Arrogance may have played its part, but IMO the main problem with Palm was
sheer incompetence. The whole palmOne fiasco was breathtakingly inept, and
led directly to the demise of Cobalt, on which the future of Palm OS
depended. Handango and PalmGear deserve an honorable mention, for their
unalloyed greed, and Metrowerks were hardly philanthropic. But most of it
was down to Palm themselves.

I also agree with the statement and would like to add that I hope that
PALM's arrogance and HUGH EGO does continue to get in the way of PALM's
dealing with its developer comunity. The now have a great change to make up
for that arrogance by giving us developers a conforming SKD that will allow
us to update our existing APPs to take advantage of the new WEB OS and
maybe.... maybe maybe... save PALM's arrogant ass and ours as well....

Anywho

It's about ^%&&**^^%& time, we it seem a job wel done... Hope it is still in
time to keep the applesause in the pork and not in our apps....
