I'm programming for Treo Centro. Any help on how to programmatically set whether the audio is routed through the speaker phone on the back of the treo or through the speaker on the front of the treo (ear phone) ?
I'm playing a .WAV file using : SndStreamCreateExtended with sndFormatPCM format input. It plays well, but it uses only the rare speaker of the Treo. All other applications like pTunes, VoiceMemo use the same rare speaker for the playback. But I've seen "CallRec 6.0" which gives the option to use the front or rare speakers for audio playback, with a push of a button. I want to have a similar interface (also provided by the phone application) where the user can just click on a speaker phone button if they want to hear through the speaker phone, otherwise they can hear through the ear-phone speaker on the front of the phone. Any leads towards achieving the same would be highly appreciated.
