Hi. Newbee question.
I am developing my first Palm application with Codewarrier R6 with a few
minor problems; none that I couldn't figure out with a lot of research.
Then I read on this forum about release 3.5 SDK and found that the
Codewarrier I got only had SDK 3.1. Sooo, I download the 3.5 SDK, the
upgrade to 3.5 (and I also downloaded the 3.5 example). Unzipped them and
installed them according to the instructions on the Web.
Went back and recompiled my project and I got over 100 errors. All of them
were:
macro redefined
indetifier redeclared
illegal name overloading
plus one screwy message about "the file 'Us.Prefix.h' cannot be opened.
All of the errors point to header files in the new 'Palm OS 3.5 Support'
directory.
So I figure that the old headers are still around so I move to an entirely
different folder the old 'Palm OS 3.1 Support' directory. I also did a
Project , Remove Object Code and a Project , Reset Project Entry paths. I
have also deleted all of the .tmp files in my project folder. None of this
had any effect.
I assume that it is caused by pre-compiled headers. Is that correct and if
so how do I fix that. Or is there another solution?
I guess you shouldn't change SDK levels in the middle of a project but I
have a IIIc and wanted 3.5.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bruce Hartwig
