Rather than reflashing your Palm everytime you wanted to
try a new version, I would suggest using the Palm OS Emulator
(POSE) ... a Palm device simulator that runs on your development
machine.  You must join the dev program and submit some paperwork
in order to be able to download the different ROM files to enable it
to simulate the different versions ... but it'd be much safer to let
POSE crash than to screw up your actual PDA!
