Since I stuck my neck out...
I use a microsoft intellipoint.
If you...
A) click on the function icon and then use the scroller and click a
function
name you go to the function and loose the mouse.
B) click any menu(file | edit | search) and select an option bing! no
mouse
C) select any text and click edit cut.. no mouse
All are fixed by minimizing then expanding the window
UNLIKE the // bug that will paint a | on the far left of the screen
on any blank line... so ifin you Up arrow or Down arrow
over a blank line

Never intended to be destructive. I know that MW is working on it
and are aware of these problems.
