All of this talk about WAP, traditional browsing, instant messaging, and email covers up what I think is another big area here... what I need more than any of that stuff (IMHO, that stuff is all "extra") is the ability to replace the most basic feature of my Palm III series machine (the cradle and the hotsync process) with a wireless or cellular solution. I find myself on the road several times a year (so something that is wireless full time is fairly useless) and sometimes (such as a trip this last summer), the local cellular network has a higher quality than the land lines. Bottom line, I had a crystal clear cell phone, but land lines that were so noisy that I couldn't hotsync with a PalmModem.
Exact specs in my situation are a Palm IIIc and a Nokia 5120 phone... anybody know of a solution I could use to hotsync this Palm via this phone? ---------- Bradly J.
