Hi all

I would like to know more about the 10 pins in the Serial Port on my Palm V
.
I would like to read the "status" of these pins, for example if they are HI
or LO .

Who knows where in the memory these values are stored?

What I want to do is to detect if the Palm is attatched to other hardware,
like the Hotsync Cradle and the Palm Portable Keyboard.
Have anyone figured out a way to detect the cradle, when the batteries are
not charging, allready?

There is a Hardware global called hwrMiscFlagHasCradleDetect that suggests
that Cradle detection is available on some devices?

About detecting the Palm Portable Keyboard ( PPK ) I read in the FAQ about
PPK that the driver Keyboard.prc checks for the
precense of the PPK every 3 minutes, so it looks like it can be done. Anyone
have any idea on how to do this? I have tried to check if the
Serial Port is open when the PPK is attacthed but that does not seem to be
the case.

Thanks,

Jonatan Fernstad
