Kind of interesting. The error always seems to pop-up and reference
the same line in the same Palm OS source file

Regardless of whether the error occurs in an alert screen or whether
it occurs on the entry screen.

Thanks. I'll check for trailing linefeeds, but my initial reaction is
that they don't exist.
