Hi,

Many things could cause this, the most common being trying to send & receive at 
the
same time.  Also, you don't specifically say you do, but you should be disabling
Receive when you Transmit otherwise beam will interfere with the receive.

IrCOMM was designed to provide an error-free serial link that gets around these
problems.
